W. Talmadge Hulsey, 89 of Gainesville, entered Heaven’s Gates on November 18, 2023.
He was born April 28, 1934, to the late Conner W. Hulsey and Ruby Samples Hulsey of Gainesville, Ga. He graduated from Sardis High School. Mr. Hulsey served in the United States Army from 1956 thru 1958. He was in the Pest Control Industry for over 50 years. He was the founder of Empire Pest Control in Gainesville, Ga. He is a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church and attended Northlake Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga.
He is preceded in death by sister, Montrice Stephens, Euphemia Stephens, Olene Stevens, Alene Abercrombie, John E. Hulsey, and Jean Veal. Brothers-in-law, Quinton Stephens, Clinton Stephens, Bud Stevens, Tom Abercrombie, Lewis Veal. Sister-in-law Carolyn Hulsey. Great granddaughter, Emmaline Paige Edwards.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Jimmie Lou Hulsey, daughters, Pam Deyton, Kaye Lee (Richard) and son, Jason Hulsey (Kathy). Grandchildren, Casey Deyton, Kyle Hix, Makayla Lee, Konner Hulsey and step grandchildren, Paige Edwards (Spencer) and Blair Cantrell (Tim). Great grandchildren, River Edwards and Rhett Edwards. Many loved nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 24 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
