William Danny Almond

William Danny Almond, 71 of Winder, Ga. passed away Monday January 26, 2026. Danny was a Forsyth County native and graduated from Forsyth County High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Danny was a brick mason and did construction work for many years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church in Dawsonville, GA. 

He is preceded in death by his father, William Almond; mother, Corene Roberts; and brothers, Richard and Jackie Almond. 

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Kristi Almond, and Joey and Sharra Almond; siblings, Andy, Jr. (Patty) Almond, Mark (Lisa) Almond, Vama Holtzclaw, and Mary Jane Watkins; a number of nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
