May Jehovah God (Psalms 83 vs 18) and those close to your family give you comfort as you go through this difficult time. The Bible talks about the hope that God has for our dear dead loved ones. Revelation 21 vs. 4 assures us that God is going to wipe out tears from our eyes and neither will pain nor mourning nor outcry will be there anymore; the former things he will do away with. 1 Corinthians 15 vs. 26 further states that God will do away with the last enemy death. Even more comforting is Acts 24 vs 15 which assures us that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. May these scriptures assure your family that even though painful, the death of your dear loved one is not the end of everything for God does not lie (Numbers 23 vs 19).

I had not seen Uncle Donald in many years, but I remember him so vividly. The few times I did see him, he was certainly always the "fun uncle". Sorry to all for the loss of this one-of-a-kind man. He will be missed. We are all the better for having spent time with him. How many of us would know how to water ski if it were not for Don?

What fantastic pictures! Gramp and that grey boat are forever etched in my mind. I must have logged a million hours jumping off the bow! It's hard to believe he isn't here still, but I am so grateful I was with him last Friday.

Gramp was a major part of my childhood, spending summers with him and Grandma at the lake, and then spending Christmas with them in Florida. He commanded any room he was in, and was the life of the party. I'll miss him more than I can even imagine. I hope you are eating the biggest peanut butter parfait with tons of whoopie- ding gramp.

We will miss you Gramp... Thank you for all of the memories! We share this parting prayer with all who remember you.

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.
