Had not heard that my friend Emma had passed away until today. I have been living in Mt. Dora, Fl since 2014 and recently moved back into this area. I know of no one who fought the good fight so well and whose friendship I cherished for so many years! May we all live and honor our blessings like Emma.

Just cannot express how much I loved Emma. What a beautiful life she lived. I am so sorry Dr. Morgan. Jennifer just heard that you were in Gainesville. She and her husband,Mark, live nearby. I wanted to check on Emma and that led me to this sad news. I will never forget your message that included a bit about the stradavarus violin concert at the capital. Just reading about Emma's love of music made me realize how sweet you were to take her there. You and your lovely family are in my prayers.

I am so sad to hear that Mrs. Morgan, Emma, has passed but I know that she is in the loving arms of our Lord now. I can hear her sweet and gentle voice in my mind even now after years of being away. Emma was a dear person and such a mentor to me and others and I am grateful for her life. I know you are sad and grieving and I will be thinking about you over the coming days and weeks. You are loved.

Emma and I had been friends a long time. We rode to Jubalheir concerts together. The longer the ride, the more time to talk. Sure loved her sweet spirit!

I met Emma at a fall Jubalheirs' retreat at Epworth By The Sea. From the first moment, I knew she was special. She had a gift of comfort just by being herself. She epitomized a Christ like spirit and blessed me every time I had the opportunity to speak to her.

Words are hard to find as there are so many describing her role as a Pastor's wife! She fulfilled it to perfection. She is where we were promised that there would be no pain or sorrow and you know she has smile of hers all the time. May our God give each of you peace and comfort as only He can do.

Bruce: Words are inadequate to express of sorrow at learning of Emma's death. Our prayers will follow you and your family in the coming days as you manage your sorrow. My hope for you is in the words of the Psalmist who said: "..weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning." JW and Willene Wallis

We were so blessed when we retired and moved back to my hometown to form an amazing friendship with two of the dearest people we have ever known, Emma and Bruce Morgan! As a long-time pastor's wife, I watched with pleasure as she performed so perfectly that sometimes-difficult role. We also watched -- sadly -- her hard physical battles. Now, though, she has truly been victorious -- free of pain, singing so beautifully God's praises. Lord, please help her dear family.

My best and most meaningful memory is of Emma Peck singing solo at First Baptist the well known song, “His Eye is On the Sparrow”. I thought it was a beautiful tune, quite well performed, with a comforting message. Through the years I have sung it again in congregational services and heard others sing solos. Each time I remember Emma’s rendition. That was one impact she made on my life and I appreciate her talent and offering. She will be missed by family and friends who can know better than I her contribution in life. I offer my sincere sympathy at this time of loss.

What a wonderful, gracious Southern Lady, such a role model for all women, especially in the Jubalheirs. We will miss her, but will be blessed by her lifetime influence. Surely the God who is Love allowed us to know her and remember her treasured life. May He wrap you in His loving arms during this difficult time and may you be comforted by the prayers of all who knew her.
