As telephone company employees we were on the line with Jeep November 22, 1963 when shots were fired in Dallas. Jeep said hold on boys every bell here in toll test is ringing. We were on a pole between Clarksville and Clayton Georgia and when Jeep came back on line he said the news services AP, UPI and others are demanding "no interruptions" so stay where you are on standby until this is settled. The President has been shot in Dallas.
Jeep will be missed....He was a great Man and was appreciated by many.
