James "Stud" Winfred Talley

Mr. James “Stud" Winfred Talley, 76, of Dawsonville died Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, provider and protector. 
Born in Dawsonville, Georgia, Mr. Talley was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was the son of Herbert and Rosenell Talley of Dawson County. Mr. Talley was a retired independent jewelry salesman. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pam Talley, Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Steve Burtz, Cumming; son, Jeff Talley, Gainesville; grandchildren, Katie Chester, Josh Burtz, and CJ Talley; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Joan Talley, Dawsonville; and aunt, Odeleen Talley; Dawsonville. 
Mr. Talley is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will take place at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, Georgia on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 4:00- 8:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at Little & Davenport Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 am. Rev. Troy Milford will officiate along with special speaker, Bruce Harvey. Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Nathan Martin officiating.
