Lavern (Henderson) Dollar

Lavern Dollar, 86 of Oakwood passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Dollar was the daughter of the late Homer and Mary Jane Tanner Henderson.  She had worked for Southern Bell for many years and  also worked along with her husband in the family business, Dollar Carburetor and Electric as a bookkeeper.  

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert Dollar, Oakwood; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd McGlaun, Athens; grandchildren, Derrick Kaufman, Nevada; Natasha McGlaun, Oregon; Daniel Kaufman, Gainesville; Hunter McGlaun, Oregon; Ethan McGlaun, Athens; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Dollar is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings,  and a daughter, Sundi Dollar.

Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday August 16, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
