I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. My condolences to his family. Dick played a very important role in my professional development by helping to start a residency in geriatric pharmacotherapy at the University of Maryland. I was the first resident and Dick (then President of Maryland ASCP) took me under his wing. He was a strong advocate for the residency and the profession of pharmacy. I have fond memories of working side by side with Dick at his practice in long term care. After completing my residency I joined the faculty at (Dick's Alma-mater) Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The program has flourished over the past 15 years and the residency prepared me well. I am sure that there are many students that benefited from Dick's efforts. Rest easy old friend. Best, Michael Brodeur

I am so thankful I had a chance to know Mr. Baylis. I knew him through my job and I so looked forward to the times he came in. He always was happy, he always had a story to tell, and even after being sick, he still found a way to make you smile. I will miss you Mr. Baylis. I pray God will surround all those who loved you so much with strength and grace. Rest in peace and thank you for making my life just a little brighter.
