I will never forget in the 6th grade learning to Square Dance in Mrs. Price's P.E. class. It never occurred to any of us in the class that we would do that in physical education. I still look back fondly on that time. It was way more memorable than a game of kickball. Please take comfort in the fact that she influenced so many lives for the better.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Miss Shirley was very proud of all of you. I worked with her at Myers Elementary. She was a very hard worker and was dedicated to providing the best education possible to our students. Her innovative work has remained the foundation of our physical education program through the years. She and Gene were a pleasure to know. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Blessings on you always is my prayer for you.

I grew up with my grandparents living by Gene and Shirley. They were wonderful to them and after my Grandpa died they became even closer to my Grandmother. Shirley was such a sweet person and I have so many memories of times spent with her at her home and at church also. My oldest daughter thought Shirley was the coolest lady and loved spending time with her too. Rest in Peace my friend!

I worked with Mrs. Price at Dawson County Middle School. She was a precious friend. When my husband and I built our new house, she gave me candlesticks. I still have them and they have been cherished over the years. The memories I have or Shirley Price and Gene will forever be precious. She talked about her son, Rad, how proud she was of you. May God Bless and comfort the family at this time.

Rest in peace Mrs. Shirley...so many fond memories of you and your family growing up in and around your house, working for you and Gene, and always getting a hug from you at church. I will miss seeing those beautiful hats in the spring.
Thank you for all you did for me growing up and being a dear friend to our family.

Mrs. Price was a dear friend. She took me under her wing as a beginning teacher at Dawson County Middle School. She helped me with many different activities. We keep in touch through the years. She and Gene were a precious couple. Love you Mrs. Price. Rest in peace.
