Johnny C. Brock

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday November 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Mr. Johnny C. Brock 75, of Gillsville, Ga. Interment will follow in  Dunagan Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Short and Rev. Dr. Ken Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sat. Nov. 28, 2015 and 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday Nov. 29, 2015 at the funeral home.

 Mr. Brock died Friday November 27, 2015 at his residence following an extended Illness. Mr. Brock was a lifetime residence of Hall Co. Mr. Brock was a Poultry & cattle farmer. Mr. Brock was loved by his family.

Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his parents Mildred & Roscoe Brock, and brother James Brock; his father and mother-in-law Harold & Cassie Whelchel; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Louise Clark, Ray Whelchel, Dennis Whelchel, Perry Whelchel, Leroy Whelchel, Dortha Roper, Brantley Stephens.

Mr. Brock is survived by his wife of 50 years Evelyn Whelchel Brock; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Laura Brock, Jay and Tiffany Brock; grandchildren, Mason Brock, Lillie Brock, Walker Brock, Blake Campbell, Chad Brock, Emily Brock all of Gillsville; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and George Rutland of TN.; sisters, Janie Brock of Gainesville, Sheree Brock of Gainesville, Lauren Bracewell of Flowery Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dwight Griffin of Lula; brother, Jackie Brock of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law Gerald and Mattie Brock of Snellville, Randall and JoAnn Brock of Gainesville, Danny and Gelaine Brock of Gainesville, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Inez and Heward Thurmond of Gainesville, sister-in-law, Robbie Stephens of Murrayville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buddy & June Whelchel; special niece Jill Coker; special friends, Vonda, Rashelle & Blake Edwards.
